On Oct 9, the 7th Meknes International Tourism Forum officially opened in Morocco. The China Cultural Center in Rabat, alongside Chinese-Moroccan aviation and tourism enterprises as well as local associations, jointly launched the eye-catching "Nihao! China" pavilion.

Designed with vibrant "China Red" and modern elements, the pavilion featured promotional videos on tourism, aviation, and payment facilitation, alongside multilingual brochures. Its intangible cultural heritage zone—showcasing paper-cutting, opera dolls, traditional costumes, and green tea tasting—drew enthusiastic crowds of local youths.

Chinese Ambassador to Morocco Yu Jinsong and local government officials visited the booth, highly praising its role in promoting bilateral cultural and tourism exchanges. Moroccan tourism representatives also expressed optimism about growing tourist flows, as the 3-day forum gathered global experts to discuss regional tourism and heritage preservation.

Lasting for three days, the forum featured exhibition booths set up by countries such as China, India, and Senegal, as well as professional tourism institutions like the Moroccan Agency for Tourism Development. Representatives from Moroccan government departments, tourism industry experts, and invited guests held multiple panel discussions on topics including "local economy serving heritage preservation" and "gastronomy as a way to enhance the value of heritage spaces".
