Singapore Writers Festival to welcome Chinese guest speakers

Chinese mainland writers Shuang Xuetao, Liang Hong and Wang Zhanhei will participate in the 29th edition of the biennial Singapore Writers Festival, running from November 13 through November 22, as guest speakers. They will join over 300 writers, speakers and moderators from countries and regions including Singapore, the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, India, New Zealand, Indonesia, and Malaysia over more than 200 events.

The 29th Singapore Writers Festival, organized by the Arts House Group of Singapore, examines how narratives in literature, media and personal experiences can be unveiled, obscured, or reinterpreted. Themed "Hidden in Plain Sight", it features a diverse array of interdisciplinary and cross-cultural programs, fostering dialogue among Singaporean, regional and international voices.
