Diplomats explore Beijing culture, tech in Shijingshan

The "2026 Chinese Cultural Tour for Consular Officials of Foreign Embassies in China" was held in the Shijingshan district of Beijing on Monday. More than 60 diplomats and representatives of cultural and tourism institutions from over 30 countries and regions took part under the theme "Wow! Shijingshan: Culture & Tourism, Reimagined".

They traced the district's rich cultural heritage through ancient art at Fahai Temple, explored technological innovation through human-robot interaction at the Humanoid Robot Data Training Center, and witnessed urban transformation along the Yongding River.

The event was hosted by the Bureau of International Exchange and Cooperation of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, and organized by the culture and tourism bureau of Shijingshan district and China Tourism Group Travel Services Co Ltd.
