More than 400 items from over 20 institutions and private collections will be featured in Heroes Remembered, Generations Inspired, an exhibition opening to the public on Oct 31 at the National Museum of China in Beijing.

The exhibition will chronicle the Red Army's arduous Long March (1934-36), highlighting key episodes of the historic journey and the role of faith in forging a strong military force.

To bring the Long March legacy to life, the exhibition will also feature 3D simulations of historical artifacts, AI-powered video narrations, interactive maps and a digital experience zone.
