Guzhen lighting fair concludes with record number of international buyers

The 35th China (Guzhen) International Lighting Fair concluded on Sunday in Guzhen township of Zhongshan, Guangdong province, with a record number of international buyers.

The four-day event received nearly 60,000 visiting professionals, according to the organizers. Among them were 5,020 international visitors from 141 countries and regions, an increase of 3.44 percent compared to the autumn session in 2025.

The South Asian market showed strong growth, with notable increases in buyers from countries such as Pakistan and Sri Lanka. The event also saw a significant rise in the number of buyers from the United States and Brazil, according to the organizers.

The fair is held twice a year in spring and autumn. This edition brought together more than 1,000 Chinese lighting companies, showcasing new trends in the lighting industry and highlighting the expansion into niche markets and system services, the organizers said.

The trends included advancements in AI smart control, lighting solutions for all ages and health, standalone lighting fixtures, and integrated light, electricity, and storage solutions.
