China calls for balanced approach to Iran nuclear issue

On Oct 27, at a UN Security Council meeting on the Iranian nuclear issue, China's permanent representative to the UN, Fu Cong, said Iran should fulfill its commitment not to develop nuclear weapons, while other parties should respect its right to the peaceful use of nuclear energy. He also urged the US to pledge not to use force against Iran again.
