Foreign leaders to attend 9th CIIE in Shanghai

Foreign leaders will gather in Shanghai to attend the opening ceremony of the 9th China International Import Expo on Thursday.

The six-day expo will run through Nov 10, Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Mao Ning said at a regular news briefing on Tuesday.

The foreign leaders include Gabonese President Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema, Austrian Federal Chancellor Christian Stocker, Liberian Vice-President Jeremiah Koung, Cuban Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Trade and Investment Oscar Perez-Oliva Fraga, Slovak Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy Denisa Sakova, and Georgian Vice-Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Mariam Kvrivishvili.
