Hands-on classes in traditional crafts, from weaving to silver jewelry-making, are drawing young people to the mountains of Guizhou province. For many, they offer a chance to slow down, learn something new, and take a break from the pressures of city life.
In Dali Dong village in Rongjiang county, visitors are gathering to learn traditional weaving techniques. Local villagers have become instructors, sharing skills that have long been part of everyday life in the community.
