Daqingjiang scenic area, Enshi, Hubei

Flowing from west to east through Enshi, the Qingjiang River has nurtured generations of Tujia people along its banks and is affectionately known as the "Mother River of the Tujia People". A boat journey along the river reveals emerald waters, dramatic cliffs, and picturesque mountain ridges, with traditional Tujia stilt houses and pastoral landscapes nestled among the hills.

Further along, Butterfly Cliff rises in the shape of a giant butterfly poised to take flight. Between its outstretched wings, a waterfall cascades down the rock face, its mist adding a touch of magic to the rugged scenery. Here, river and mountains unfold together like a living landscape painting.
