Saudi Basic starts commercial production at China chemical plant

Saudi Basic Industries Corp, the world's biggest chemicals maker by market value, said it started commercial production at a chemical plant in Tianjin.

The facility, a joint venture between Saudi Basic and China Petroleum & Chemical Corp, has a production capacity of 3 million tons a year, according to a company statement to the Saudi bourse today.
