"It will take more than nine months to become the largest mobile advertisement provider in China but InMobi should have an eye for a longer perspective," said the company's CEO.
"The first thing we need to do is to set up the best team in order to create the best products."
The company has set up two offices, in Shanghai and Beijing, in a bid to provide localized products and services.
"We have spent a lot of time building our local team in China. Now InMobi needs to expand its business in the country with its local partners," said Jessie Yang, general manager of InMobi China.
Earlier last month, the company pledged to add investment in rich media, HTML5 (the next-generation webpage coding standard) and the creative advertising sectors to maintain its lead in the innovative advertising industry.
"We have to work closely with local partners, including advertisers, advertising sales agents and app developers. Only in this way could we help the growth of the newly-born mobile advertising market," said Tewari
"The good news is that more and more venture capital firms in China are laying their eyes on this industry. Sufficient financing will surely benefit the market," he said.
