The development zone's human resources and social security bureau organized 12 enterprises to attend the 2012 campus recruitment fair at Shihezi University in the Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region.
The bureau conducted a survey about the current status of human resources for 226 enterprises in the zone. According to their recruitment requirements, various weekly, monthly and quarterly recruitment fairs have been held since February.
Considering graduates from universities and colleges looking for jobs at campus recruitment fairs, the development zone also keeps in touch with universities and colleges in Urumqi and nearby cities to provide recruitment services for enterprises.
The development zone organized local enterprises to attend campus recruitment fairs to help enterprises solve their recruitment problems.
Twelve enterprises attending this recruitment fair at Shihezi University planned to recruit 559 people for 67 positions. Enterprises got as many as 693 resumes at the fair. There have been 89 people that reached an employment agreement with enterprises. Some enterprises need to hold interviews for applicants to make their final decisions.
The development zone will also hold the recruitment month activities in universities and colleges in April to make full use of the campus recruitment fairs and to facilitate enterprises finding the most qualified employees.
