Biggest Jade Buddha statue on display in Liaoning

 Photo taken on December 19, 2008 shows a buddhist temple at the Jade Shakyamuni Buddha Park of Anshan city, northeast China's Liaoning province. The Jade Shakyamuni Buddha statue carved out of a 260-ton jade stone is being displayed here for worshippers from all over the world. The statue was accredited as the biggest of its kind in the world by the Guinness World Records in December 2002. [Chinadaily.com.cn]
