BEIJING - Ferrari Maserati Cars Sales and Services (Shanghai) Co. will recall 56 vehicles imported to the Chinese mainland due to defective track bars, China's quality watchdog said on Tuesday.
The recall, which began Tuesday, includes 37 Quattroporte models and 19 GranTurismo models that were produced between July 3, 2008 and September 30 of the same year, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection, and Quarantine said in a statement on its website.
The statement said the faulty track bar may rupture during operation and leave vehicles out of control.
The company will offer free replacement of the track bars to eliminate risks, the statement said.
