CPC Central Committee to hold 6th plenum in Oct

BEIJING - The Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee decided on Monday that the Sixth Plenary Session of the 17th CPC Central Committee will be convened in Beijing on October 15-18.
The decision was made at a Political Bureau meeting where participants reviewed the work accomplished since last year's Fifth Plenary Session, according to an official press release from the General Office of the CPC Central Committee.
President Hu Jintao, also general secretary of the CPC Central Committee, presided over the meeting.
