Shenzhen Customs said on May 16 it will offer onsite services for the 8th China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair to be held from May 18 to 21.
The customs will provide record keeping, declaration, customs transit, inspection and taxation charge services for the fair's organizers and exhibitors.
It will send a team from its supervision department to the fair's main venue, Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center, for the four days.
It has also established an information counter in the center, providing inquiry services for cargo import and export, logistics supervision and legal issues, such as intellectual property registration at customs, evidence-taking in copyright infringement cases and how to protect Chinese enterprises' independent intellectual property abroad.
The fair, organized by the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Commerce and the Shenzhen government, has one main venue and 40 subsidiary venues. The main venue is expected to attract almost 2,000 exhibitors from 95 countries and regions this year.
The 7th fair, held in May 2011, attracted 1,896 exhibitors and 3.9 million visitors, including 552,900 professional visitors.
