Hospital chief accused of raping 14-year-old

The president of a hostpital in Jinhua, Zhejiang province, was detained for allegations of rape, according to Jinhua Public Security Bureau.

According to local police department, the victim was a 14-year-old student from Liupanshui, Guizhou province. She was kidnapped and taken to Jinhua, where she was raped.

Police said they received a report on June 6 and carried out an investigation immediately. So far, eight suspects were detained. Sun Shangjian, 50, from Jinhua, was the president of Jinhua Aike Hospital.

Another suspect Hu Yuyuan, 20, from Guizhou, allegedly abducted women by claiming he could help them find work, according to the bureau.

So far, the case is still under investigation, and the hospital operating normally.
