Temporary measures to regulate the specific fund for China's general-aviation development have been released recently by the Civil Aviation Administration and the Ministry of Finance, reports said.
According to the measures, the general-aviation specific fund will be used as a subsidy for general-aviation operations, pilot training, and infrastructure and facility refurbishment.
The measures have also detailed subsidy standards for pilot license training, facility purchases, upgrading and innovation, and the safety facilities allowance.
The long-awaited subsidy measures for the country's general-aviation industry are expected to stimulate the development of general aviation and related training companies. They are also seen as an example of China's commitment to fully supporting the general-aviation industry, China Securities Journal reported.
According to the measures, both State-owned and privately owned enterprises registered in China and holding general-aviation licenses for operation are eligible to apply for the subsidy.
