BEIJING - A 5.6-magnitude earthquake jolted Qiemo county of Bayingolin Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region at 7:30 a.m. Sunday (Beijing Time), according to the China Earthquake Networks Center.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10 km, was at 36.8 degrees north latitude and 86.7 degrees east longitude, the center said in a statement.
