Guo Jinlong, born in July 1947, is a male ethnic Han from Nanjing, Jiangsu Province. He entered the workforce in August 1969 and joined the CPC in April 1979. He graduated from Department of Physics at Nanjing University with a major in acoustics. He received a university education.
He is currently a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and secretary of the CPC Beijing Municipal Committee.
