BEIJING - The following is the biographical sketch of Yang Jing:
Yang Jing, born in December 1953, is a male ethnic Mongolian from Jungar Banner, Inner Mongolia. He entered the workforce in December 1970, joined the CPC in August 1976, and received a postgraduate education at the Central Party School.
He is currently a member of the Secretariat of the CPC Central Committee, deputy head of the United Front Work Department of the CPC Central Committee, and minister in charge of the State Ethnic Affairs Commission and secretary of its Leading Party Members' Group.
