Legislators to vote on State Council members

BEIJING - Chinese legislators will vote on the nominations of members of the State Council, or the cabinet, at the ongoing national legislative session Saturday afternoon.

The nominees include vice-premiers, state councilors, government ministers, governor of the central bank, auditor-general and secretary-general of the State Council.

Legislators will also vote on the candidates of the chairpersons, vice-chairpersons and members of eight special committees of the 12th National People's Congress (NPC).
