Yu Yang, 24, has become an experienced bomb-disposal expert since he was enlisted in an engineer battalion of a military region in South China's Hainan province two years ago.
Before being a soldier, Yu was a student at Huanghe Science and Technology College in Zhengzhou city, Central China's Henan province.
