Cultural relics unearthed in ancient tombs in Northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region reveal women's makeup in ancient times. The findings, including silk paintings and beautiful women figurines, exhibit the makeup of the women living in the western regions in Han Dynasty (206BC-220AD) and Tang Dynasty (618AD-907AD).
