Addressing the first full session of the G20 leadership summit, which convened on June 18 in the Mexico resort of Los Cabos, Hu said: "Securing growth and promoting stability should still be the top priority of G20 members".
Hu called on the G20 group to seriously study and jointly explore ways to address the systemic risks in the world economy "in a spirit of unity and win-win cooperation", and strengthen "the hard-won momentum" of economic recovery.
In particular, Hu called on the G20 members to "continue to support some European countries in resolving the debt issue in a constructive and cooperative way, and help to bring the European economy back on the track of steady growth as soon as possible".
