Beijing - With flags at half-mast, people in the Macao special administrative region on Wednesday mourned earthquake victims in Qinghai province.

After the mourning, Chui said Macao will offer full support to people in the disaster zone, and called on local communities to help through donations and other means.
Amusement activities were suspended on Wednesday in the region, including the grand opening of a new casino.
On Monday, Macao said it would provide 100 million yuan ($14.6 million) in quake relief.
The government said on Tuesday it will support efforts of the Macao Red Cross to participate in disaster relief and reconstruction.
In addition to government funds, the Macao Red Cross has offered 300,000 patacas ($37,500) to quake relief, and sent personnel to Xining, capital of Qinghai, to purchase relief supplies worth 250,000 patacas.
The organization said it has received more than 2.75 million patacas ($343,800) in donations from the local communities.
