April,21,2010. The State Council, China's cabinet, announced that a national day of mourning would be observed on Wednesday for the quake victims.At 9 am, China Daily held a ceremony to fly the flag at half-mast to mourn the earthquake victims, with more than 100 staffers present.We interviewed China Daily reporter Wang Ru, who was covering the affected area.Mourning ceremonies were also held in Tian'anmen Square and the Yushu disaster area.
