The Yueju Opera performance of Ibsen could be "the most challenging one" to draw in NYU students because of the traditional aesthetic of the show, but Harrington says the Ibsen angle will hopefully pique people's curiosity.
"For Richard III, we think we have a lot going for us there. It brings in a lot of different Chinese elements: It brings in Chinese calligraphy, some kung fu elements, some Peking Opera elements, and it brings in Shakespeare. There's a lot there that people can connect with," he says.
