Ang Lee, the king

Ang Lee is the one who cannot be missed when referring to the Chinese presence at the Oscars. He has made many great achievements and no one has come close to breaking his record. At the 73rd Academy Awards in 2001, his film Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon won the Best Foreign Language Film, meanwhile, it helped three other Chinese artist, Bao Xide (Best Cinematography), Tan Dun (Best Music) and Timmy Yip (Best Art Direction), who also won Oscar statuettes. Later in 2006 and 2013, Lee won Best Director with the films Broken Mountain and Life of Pi.
