Arias highlight concert
Austrian soprano Eva Lind started singing as a teenager, but she studied philosophy at the University of Vienna before training to be a professional singer. Now an established opera lead, Lind has played roles such as Lucia in Donizetti's Lucia di Lammermoor, Gilda in Rigoletto, Juliette in Romeo et Juliette, and Amina in La Sonnambula. She will perform arias from various opera works, as well as artistic songs at the Shanghai Concert Hall.

Chekhov's life and work
The Performance Workshop by Stan Lai from Taiwan will present two plays. An original play adapted from the love letters of Anton Chekhov to Olga Knipper, titled Let Me Lead You by the Hand, will be performed, followed by Chekhov's play The Seagull. By presenting the author's life story before a production of his creation, Lai hopes to initiate a dialogue between contemporary people and the Russian master. In the first play, the role of Olga will be played by Jiang Wenli, and The Seagull will feature Ju Xue, both well-established Chinese actresses.

A one-man show
The original play Journal of Three Beans by Jalent Culture Communications Company, a one-man show, tells stories of three ordinary men. All named "Dou Dou", or "beans" in Chinese, they are a music DJ, a taxi driver, and a nerd dreaming about love and better life. The show tells their struggles against their respective problems.

Nature in Li Qi's art
Li Qi is presenting his ink-art creation at Zhu Qizhan Art Museum. Li is from Baoding in Hebei province. More than 50 calligraphy and landscape paintings are presented. Show curator Yang Weimin says that Li used to live in the mountains and travel on the Tibet Plateau and nature has purified his soul, and enriched his heart, helping him to catch the spirit of natural beauty and sublime spirit.
