Theater students take center stage

During the launch, attendees heard two-time Oscar winner Neil Corbould's (Gravity, World War Z, Gladiator), words of wisdom on the importance of expert guidance in the performing arts for young people, and Emmy Award winner John Altman (Titanic, James Bond, Monty Python) spoke movingly about the importance of loving what you do, paying tribute to the creativity, confidence and skill of the young ISTA Academy students.

The event closed with an amazing performance led by 13-year-old WISS student Asha Luevano and Andy Summers, legendary Grammy Award winning guitarist of the Police. The young singer demonstrated exactly how the ISTA Academy can be the opportunity of a lifetime as she sang the hit song Message in a Bottle alongside the rock legend who co-wrote the massive hit.
