Ministry of Culture holds national conference on foreign affairs

Luo admitted that there were some shortcomings in the field of international cultural exchange and popularity. He put forward three requirements to all the participants: to improve the theoretical level; to clarify the responsibilities of the government, and co-ordinate all kinds of resources; to keep on reform, innovation and expansion of influence.

More than 120 people from local cultural bureaus, State Administration of Cultural Heritage, Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the Hong Kong S.A.R (Special Administrative Region) as well as Macao S.A.R, China Federation of Literary and Art Circles and China Writers Association took part in the conference, and held group discussions on how to strengthen international cultural exchange and cooperation in the future.
