The sixth Beijing International Film Festival, which will be held in April, released its film screening schedule for Beijing Film Panorama, an event for general filmgoers, on March 3.

The Big Short, which has just won best adapted screenplay at the Oscars, will hit Beijing's big screens during the festival together with other recent productions which have won critical acclaim, including 600 Miles, The Boy and The Beast, and Tharlo.

Besides, classics like D.W. Griffith's Intolerance: Love's Struggle Throughout the Ages (1915) and a 3-D remake of Bernardo Bertolucci's The Last Emperor (1987) will also be shown.

Tickets for Beijing Film Panorama movies, which will be screened at more than 30 theaters in the city, can be bought from Gewara and Weipiao, two major online film tickets booking systems. The Beijing Film Panorama schedule comprises more than 400 films.
