One Art, a singing and dancing drama for children, will be staged at the National Center for the Performing Arts in Beijing in the spring of 2017, according to a recent news release.
Produced by Beijing-based BQ International Children's Art Education, the show will feature around 200 nonprofessional actors from 5 to 15 years old. Auditions will be planned, too. The drama will be overseen by a veteran team — theater producer, director, songwriter and scriptwriter — including director Niu Wanxin from the Beijing Children's Art Theater and scriptwriter Dai Jinsong from the Central Academy of Drama.
