Wuqing to host Hanma Music Festival

The first edition of Hanma Music Festival is set to be held from Sept 15 to 17 at the Victory Kingdom Amusement Park in Wuqing, Tianjin.

Organized by Stellion Era Cultural Communication, a Beijing-based music company, the event will see biggies from the musical scene including Tengger from Inner Mongolia. The popular artist will return after a long hiatus. Chinese Uygur pop-rock composer and musician Perhat, who is best known for his performances on the television reality show The Voice Of China in 2014 too will grace the show.

Two of the biggest names of Chinese rock scene, Black Panther and Tang Dynasty, will be sharing the stage, the organizers said.

The event will also witness Chinese rock singer and songwriter Xie Tianxiao, hailed as one of the best rockers in the country and is known for his energetic live shows. Kerman Flamenco Guitar Ensemble headed by singer and guitarist Kerman from China's Xinjiang Uygur region, a band from the UK based in Beijing, the Harridans and Beijing-based indie rock band 16 mins too are set to rock.

Besides musicians from China, fans will get to enjoy Wong Ka Keung, best known as the bassist for the rock band Beyond and Taiwan pop-rock outfit Shin.
