A scene from artist Wang Kaiya's series of work entitled The old line of work in the Jiangnan water town. This particular series features colored clay figurines at work and recreates Jiangnan's early handicraft industry. Jiangnan is the name of the area where many ancient water towns are located south of the Yangtze River. The scenes with clay figurines feature old vinasse stores and workers chopping cane shoots.
