At his solo exhibition Hey, Just Chill, Wu Mingzhong revisits his original subject, a transparent glass figure, looking free and somewhat desolated, who is sometimes an innocent teenage boy and sometimes an adult man whose face resembles the artist himself. He has added common elements in classic Chinese paintings, such as pine trees and red-crowned cranes. The paintings were created over the past four years while the painter has been fighting against cancer. In them, Wu questions the rapid pace of modern life and ultimate issues of existence. 10 am-6:30 pm, until June 30.
