The brand will soon expand to Jiangsu, Zhejiang, the whole of the Yangtze River Delta, and other areas of East China. Carioca Cafe, at the same time, will serve Brazilian cuisine and feature Brazilian art and culture shows.
The coffee industry has undergone rapid growth in China. According to statistics, Chinese coffee consumption grew at an annual rate of 20% in the last five years. Currently, global average coffee consumption is 250 cups per person per year, while the figure in China is only 4 cups. China is obviously a big market with great potential.
