Large Medium SmallFrench artist Marcestel Antoine Squarciafichi is holding the art exhibition Auspicious China at Tempo Art Center in western Beijing.
On show are more than 70 of his oil paintings. Some are about Chinese mythology while others are brightly colored abstract works.
The versatile artist expresses his ideas, making use of various mediums, such as lacquer ware, porcelain, marble, silk fabrics, glass, tapestries and linoleums.
The themes of his works are usually about Mother Nature, music, love, creatures and spirituality.
