The second Chinese Dance Art Honorary Awards were recently presented in Beijing by the Chinese Dancers' Association to eight veteran dancers and choreographers.
The winners were folk dancer Feng Guopei, classical Chinese dance educator Li Zhengyi; former director of the National Ballet of China Li Chengxiang; ethnic Mongolian dancer Siqintariha; choreographers Shu Qiao and Sun Jiabao; dancer and dance scholar Zi Huayun, and ballerina Zhao Qing.
All the awardees are at least 75 years old and have worked in the dance field for at least 50 years.
