Immerse in imagination

Shadowrama follows the evolution of a living organism. The question it poses is - once one reaches the stage of conscience, how does this body comprehend the universe surrounding him?

On stage, two dancers assume the steps of the birth of a body, offering an incisive and organic dance. Visually, the landscapes are touched by surrealist poetry, made of random movements. Each scene is an invitation to immerse in imagination, a universe destined to grow in the fantasy of the spectators.

The director Yourik Golovine has worked as a dancer and choreographer in Europe, the United States and Japan. His choreographic style is based on body metamorphosis and the presence of archetypes. He says it's a pleasure to present the first show of his new creation in China.

At a time of major ecological, political and economical upheavals, he says he believes it is essential to question ourselves about "humanity" and its future, and explore the relationship between man and the absolute.
