The 12th Jilin Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and the 13th Jilin Provincial People's Congress opened in Changchun, the provincial capital, on Jan 25 and 26, respectively, with Jilin provincial CPPCC members and deputies from all over the province in attendance.
The provincial acting governor addressed the opening of the 2018 Sessions of the Jilin People's Congress and delivered the 2017 government work report on the government's achievements of the past year and its new focus on prioritizing steady growth and innovation in the coming year.
