The 10th Jinjiang Footwear International Exposition with a theme of “cheering for Olympics” is to kick off on April 19 to 22 at the SM International Exhibition Centre in Jinjiang, East China's Fujian Province.
Major Exhibits at the show will include a wide range of footwear from sports shoes to leather-making equipments.
There will be a European fashion hall debut in the expo to present style shoes, which also serves as a platform for shoe designers to communicate. The 1,600-booth expo has been reserved by more than 500 firms from 16 countries and regions. An increased participation from international companies can be evidenced as 23 per cent of available booths have been reserved by foreign exhibitors, such as Germany-based Bayer Group. A 150-booth Taiwanese hall will appear in the expo to promote cross-strait business co-operation. As China’s major shoe-manufacturing base and housing more than 3,000 enterprises, Jinjiang turns out about 950 million pairs of shoes annually.
