Xu Jincong, an Indonesia overseas Chinese who has roots in Jinjiang was awarded with Confucius Prize for businessman during the 6th China Confucian Businessman Forum, held recently in Jining, Shandong province, where is the home of China's ancient philosopher, Confucius.
Xu, is originally from Jinjiang's Luoshan town and currently serves as a managing advisor to Jinjiang Association of Indonesia and the chairman of Fujian Jinjiang Jeeone Printing & Dyeing Machinery Co., Ltd.
China Confucian Businessman Forum, which is on its sixth year since 2010, has given Confucius Prize for businessman to 60 talented businessmen in all walks of life so far. Together with Confucius Prize for literacy, Confucius Prize for education and Confucius Prize for friendship, Confucius Prize for businessman now has shaped into a well-known culture brand and has been considered as one of the top four awards in Confucius Culture Festival.
