The 14-seat buses, with a capacity of 37, cost a total of 600,000 yuan ($94,440) and have an LED screen on the front to indicate departure time and route. And, because they have no standard engine, they run smoothly with little noise and are greener in an environmental way and require no refueling. They can go 100 kilometers if they are carrying a light load and the air conditioner is turned; or 4-5 hours a night and can be recharged in an hour in the daytime.

In any case, these all-electrical buses seem less capable than the traditional ones which can go at least 200 kilometers a day. And, because the bus switches and buttons are different from the conventional ones, the driver needs special job training.
