A microfilm "Conch Greetings" will be produced by Jinjiang Ocean and Fishery Bureau, and filmed by Huangpin Microfilm Co.. The deep love of Jinjiang locals for the ocean will be shown in the microfilm from the perspective of two generations of fishermen.
The older generation keeps insisting on the traditional thoughts, while the new generation will prefer to forge ahead and break out their shell to realize a new way of life. The meeting of different views of the two generations will form up the story and make it more fantastic.
"Conch Greetings" will be directed by Dong Siyu, who has won the Best Microfilm Award and Best Editing Award in the Asian Students Microfilm Festival and awarded as Best Debut Director in China Micro Film Competition. The film will be shot in several towns of Jinjiang including Jinjing and Shenhu towns.
