A total of 137 enterprises from Jinjiang, Fujian province participated in the third session of the 118th China Import and Export Fair or Canton Fair held in Guangzhou, on Oct 31.
The Jinjiang enterprises has set up 270 stands in the fair, an increase over the previous 10, covering different industries, for example, leisure sports, footwear, food, office supplies, textile and garment.
"We want to know the industry development and high quality products through the fair. Its communication function is greater than the trading function now," said Cai Rongjun, general manager of Panpan Foods Group, a famous Jinjiang local enterprise. With the increasing competition in the industry, only quality is the key to win orders. Also, in a bid to win more room for development, enterprises can tap into overseas markets actively, taking well advantage of the "Belt and Road" initiative, Cai added.
