The Under-16, 2015 National Youth Men's Football Tournament will take place in Jinjiang, Fujian province on Dec 3. Jointly sponsored by Chinese Football Association (CFA) and Jinjiang government, the event will set match fields in Jinjiang Sports Center and Yuanhua Middle School and last for 11 days until Dec 13.
There will be six teams participating in the tournament including four domestic and two foreign teams. The domestic teams have been official recognized to include Team Xinjiang, the winner of this year's national championships, Team Jiangsu, the winner of this year's national league, Team Guangzhou, the runner-up of Youth Games, and the China Youth Select Team, while the foreign teams have not been confirmed yet. According to the committee, both foreign teams will be strong ones.
However, it's worth mentioning that the leader of the China Youth Select Team this time will be Lang Xiaonong, known as the Father of Chinese Football Association Super League (SCL). The 35 players, all selected from the domestic provinces will have their performance in the games as a reference for entering the China Youth Team in the future.
