The sixth APEC E-Commerce Business Alliance Forum (APEC-ECBA Forum) will be held in Jinjiang city of east China's Fujian Province from June 28 to 30, Shen Danyang, spokesman of China's Ministry of Commerce announced at a press conference in Beijing, June 17.
The forum is sponsored by APEC (Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation) and China's Ministry of Commerce, being undertaken by China International E-Commerce Center (CIECC), the secretariat of APEC-ECBA and Jinjiang municipal government.
This year's forum is themed "Promoting Inclusive Trade through Cross-Border E-Commerce". Topics to be covered include developing Internet and digital economy, removing obstacles to internalization for medium, small and micro-sized enterprises, tapping new driving forces for economic growth and realizing a more balanced, more sustainable and more inclusive growth, said Shen.
The agenda of the forum includes the main forum itself, the inaugural meeting of the alliance's second committee of experts, and business site visits of cross-border e-commerce companies.
"The forum has been successfully held every two years in China's Yantai, Qingtao, Beijing, Chengdu and Yiwu," said Shen. "So far, preparation work for the forum is going well in Jinjiang and we look forward to it being a great success."
