537m EUR housing contract in Libya comes into forces

Contract of 7300 sets of housese and auxiliary facilities entered between CGGC and Housing & Infrastructure Board (H.I.B) of Libya on March 24 the same year came into forces as of Aug 17, 2008 upon the approval of Libyan Government.

The scope of the works covers design and construction of totally 7300 sets of houses and auxiliary facilities in Tigi, Cabow&Fartsa, Wady Ghadwa, Daher yefren, Jado Aljadida, 120-260 kilometers away from the capital of Libya with total construction area of 1,569,000 square meters in an amount of 989,925,000 Libyan Dinar i.e. 537 million EUR ($739.29 million) or 5800 million yuan ($955.44 million). This 36 months project is funded by Libyan Government.
